Afghanistan crush Nepal after batting collapse


Afghanistan inflicted a heavy 141-run defeat upon Nepal to continue their unbeaten streak in the ICC U-19 World Cup Divison 1 Asia Qualifier match in Singapore on Thursday.
Nepal's batting once again collapsed and the team could only manage 49 runs chasing 191 runs for victory.
Pawan Sarraf was the only highlight of Nepal's batting with a laborious 26 runs where four Nepali batsmen were out for a duck.
Naveen ul-Haq claimed a hat-trick for his four wickets while Mujeeb Zadran also had four wickets to his name.

Shahab Alam claimed three wickets for Nepal after Nepal decided to field after winning the toss.
Nepal had won their previous two matches against Singapore and Malaysia but their batting woes were exposed after struggling to chase low targets in both matches.
The table toppers after the double round robin league will make it to the 2018 ICC U-19 World Cup to be held in New Zealand.
